Part of the 'deal' for building the car is that I put a shed in the garden, so that all the gardening type stuff is out of my workshop. This means that it is accessible without wandering through an area of sharp/hot bits, and also that I have more room in the garage for car bits etc. Before the shed can be built, quite a lot of changes have been necessary to make room for it in the section, effectively removing a large raised vegetable garden, replacing it with two others in different places, extending some decking up to the new garden, terracing a sloping part of the section into other gardens, and generally shifting a lot of soil and clay around. The good news is I am within a few hours work of starting on the shed! Hopefully, the shed will be up by March, then I will take a month or two to reconfigure the garage and shelving so that it becomes a 2.5 car garage again. We are considering a trip to the UK in May, so maybe after that I can get a welder and some steel and start translating the ideas into hardware!

In the meantime, I have bought a full version of QCAD, and used it to generate better build diagrams and measurements. Looking good for a running chassis by this time next year!
